Takaramaru (Treasure) (On Hold)

For our first offering here at Jingu, we have a fully custom 1050 blade from Oniforge, mounted battle-style. The suede katate maki ito provides excellent grip and the Hanjiro tsuba prevents the blade from rolling if it hits the ground. The two holes at the back of the tsuba are apparently there to loop a string through enabling one to tie the sword to their hand to prevent it from being lost in battle.

WELCOME

Welcome to Jingu Swordshop! We offer tsukamaki (handle wrapping) services as well as custom live blades for use in the practices of iai (sword drawing) and tameshigiri (test cutting).

Jingu Swordshop will offer tanto, wakizashi, and katana, some based on the famed sword geometries of Kotetsu and Kiyomaro.

Our upcoming projects are fully customized high end blades from Oni Forge. We will feature the 1095, Folded and Sks7 models- fully mounted, refitted and one of a kind. Each blade is presented with a certificate of authenticity from Jingu Swordshop.

Custom orders will also be available on a limited basis.

Stock blades and practical models are available under Jingu_Swordshop on Ebay.

For any questions or comments, please email JinguSwordshop@gmail.com and we will be happy to assist you.
